With only 17 years of age, Jonas Folger, from Schwindegg in Bavaria has made a remarkable career – and an even greater one is still lying ahead of him. His ambition, commitment and perseverance propelled him into the first league of motorcycle racing, when he was only 16 years old. In the 125cc class he achieved a sensational top three ranking in his first season. This makes 16-year-old Jonas Folger the youngest German motorcyclist ever to step onto the winners’ podium of a world championship race.

Even though Jonas Folger finished “only” ninth place in the Indianapolis World Championship Race taking place at the last August weekend 2010, he can be absolutely proud of his performance, since the World Championship circuit in Indianapolis appeals to him least of all.
Sponsoring is not only about a financial contribution but also about supporting our young star personally and morally during the whole weekend. For this reason our Chief Operations Officer and General Manager, Mr. Christian Beck, set out for Indianapolis. He was accompanied by Brett McCutcheon, National Sales & Marketing Manager of our subsidiary Fasco America, as well as Dustin Schroeder, the Sales Representative of the Great Lakes Territory. We wish Jonas all the best for the future and are looking forward to all his victories yet to come.
