Anniversary and Company Celebration 2011

This year our long-term employees were honoured in an especially beautiful setting. On October 22nd a bus ride took the BECK workforce to picturesque Mondsee for a company outing. Almost the entire staff of Mauerkirchen and Waldkraiburg accepted the invitation.
After the outdoor programme in the afternoon with guided and individual tours, all the participants met for the corporate celebration in the beautiful atmosphere of Mondsee castle.

After the management's speech, we were pleased to express our special appreciation to our faithful long-term employees for their commitment and loyalty to the BECK Fastener Group.

We had the honour to congratulate a total of 23 employees, from the plants of Waldkraiburg (Bavaria) and Mauerkirchen (Upper Austria), on their 10th, 20th, 30th, 35th, 40th, and even 45th anniversaries and handed over special thank-you gifts to all of them.

Among the staff members celebrating an anniversary this year, is our President & CEO of the BECK Fastener Group, Mr. Günther Beck. 35 years ago, he followed the footsteps of his father Raimund Beck and took over the management of the group:

This time we altogether achieved 660 years of service, which makes up an average staff membership of more than 28 years for each honoured employee. We would like to take this as an occasion to acknowledge the commitment of all the honoured employees once again!

Last, but not least, our thanks go to all of our employees who have taken part in this corporate event in such large numbers. Each one of you has made this day an unforgettable experience!

Not only peaceful Mondsee, but also the lovely autumn weather inspired to set out on walking-tours, strolls and boat trips all around the town of Mondsee. Pavement cafés offered one of this year's last chances to bask in the sunshine..

Hungry, yet in a good mood, all the invitees gathered before the ballroom of Mondsee castle after their expeditions.

The comfortable setting invited to stay, and the four-course dinner and beverages were an absolute culinary delight..

Professional musical entertainment was presented by the dance band MOVE, who performed old and new hits.

This year's management speech was held by Mr. Marcus Dickow.

It was followed by the award-giving ceremony for our long-term employees and the acknowledgements of those employees who have retired this year.

Our President & CEO, Mr. Günther Beck, and his wife Silvia Beck were the first to sweep across the dance floor …

… an example that many employees followed until late in the night.
